Anticipated 2018 Reads

I've got a little list here of books coming out next year that are on my radar:

The Multi-Hyphen Method by Emma Gannon

A book about navigating this new technology age and using it to your advantage to tap into the entrepreneurial spirit, and become a jack of all trades.

Heads of the Colored People Stories by Nafissa Thompson-Spires
A collection of stories about black identity and the middle class in this "post-racial" era.

Well, That Escalated Quickly: Memoirs and Mistakes of an Accidental Activist by Franchesca Ramsey

A Higher Loyalty: Truth, Lies, and Leadership by James Comey
In his forthcoming book, former FBI director James Comey shares his never-before-told experiences from some of the highest-stakes situations of his career in the past two decades of American government, exploring what good, ethical leadership looks like, and how it drives sound decisions. His journey provides an unprecedented entry into the corridors of power, and a remarkable lesson in what makes an effective leader.

Are there any books you're looking forward to next year? I think I've finally accepted that the majority of my reading will be non-fiction 😊 But I'm really really excited about Heads of Colored People and Freshwater !

  1. I hadn't previously heard about any of these, but your list definitely added some books to my 2018 TBR! Freshwater and Yes We (Still) Can in particular sound fantastic. Thanks for sharing these!

  2. Ohh there are some incredible covers here! I love the sound of the first one. YAY For 2018 tbrs!! I'm freaking out a little that it's nearly next year but oh well.😂 Never too early to start wishing after books!!
